Wow, Tiger is Unreal

June 29th, 2008

I think I just witnessed the greatest U.S. open in the history of golf!  I did not just watch it on T.V., I was actually there, Thurs, Sat., Sun., and playoff Monday.  Not only did I get to watch, but I also was lucky enough to get inside the ropes during the players practice time, getting a good look at the pros and their putting styles.

Watching Tiger is mesmorizing, even in the warm-ups he seems a level above everyone.  I have heard many say it, but now I really believe it.  The putt Tiger made on 13 on Sat. was the longest putt I have ever seen live in my life and I have seen and played alot of golf.  And that was not just a putt in a friendly game of golf, it was a putt in the U.S. Open.

After finding out, the extent of Tiger’s injuries after the Open it makes it all that more amazing.  I am truly a Tiger believer!

Sergio, finally dropping some long bombs

May 12th, 2008

Sergio, finally wins a big one and surprise, surprise it was his putting that did it for him.  Man he made some bombs on that back nine to stay in contention.  It was interesting that the announcers mentioned that he was not turning his putter over when he did miss; as that is one of the important measurements the TOMI system analyzes.  Maybe Sergio picked one up over the last few weeks, because that is the best I have seen him putt.

Paula Creamer Can Putt

May 5th, 2008

I did not get to catch the whole event, but I saw Paula Creamer putt her way to victory this past weekend.  She missed a couple of short ones coming down the stretch, but her putting prevailed when she drained that 20ft putt for victory.  I think that really teaches us a lesson on putting; never lose faith.  You may miss a few that you think you are going to make, but if you believe in your stroke, you are going to drop some putts as well.
